Global water treatment manufacturer and magnetic filtration pioneer, ADEY, is investing in its continued expansion in 2020 with the announcement of a third site, a purpose-built 44,000 sq ft facility based in Gloucestershire.

Set to open its doors in March, the new facility forms a key part of ensuring that ADEY continues to produce the highest quality products and services in a controlled environment.

Matthew Webber, ADEY’s Group Managing Director, says: “Since ADEY created magnetic filtration technology more than 15 years ago, we’ve experienced significant growth becoming a global presence with sales and operations covering UK, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

We’re committed to delivering innovative and high-quality products and services to customers all over the world. As such, it’s important that we continue to have a controllable, scalable and sustainable platform to service increasing demand in our products and services. Investing in this additional facility further fulfils this aim.

The new facility creates an initial 40 new jobs for the local area and ADEY’s ambition over the coming years is to attract more talent to this vibrant and highly skilled part of the country.

ADEY’s Operations Director, Lee Carlin, says: “This is an exciting time for the business and the right time to expand and invest in our operational structure, to help manage supply and growth in the UK market and overseas. “As a manufacturer, we’re driven to better manage our environmental footprint and impacts of our business. One of the reasons we chose St Modwen Park Gloucester was the strong sustainability credentials of the development. The new site supports many of our environmental and corporate social responsibility goals, such as switching from diesel vehicles to a hybrid fleet utilising onsite electric charging points. It’s a great platform that will be fundamental in supporting our future growth.”
