The smash hit show of the YouTube sensation Fully Charged, is back!
Fri 07/06/2019 - Sun 09/06/2019After nine years and 400 episodes, Robert Llewellyn’s Fully Charged, will be brought to life again as an ‘exhilarating festival of clean energy tech and electric vehicles’. The exhibition takes place at the world-famous Silverstone circuit, at the heart of the UK’s motorway network on Friday 7th, Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June.
As the public become more aware of air pollution and climate change, and as electric vehicles and renewable technologies become increasingly attractive, interest in Fully Charged has started to surge. With an average of ~3 million episode views per month on YouTube, the second Fully Charged LIVE event is doubling in size.
Fully Charged LIVE, which is being sponsored by Ecotricity, a renewable energy company that supplies green energy to over 200,000 customers across the UK, promises to bring together all the elements of a cleaner, cheaper future under one roof. Visitors will be treated to an array of first-class features including:

• Every Electric Vehicle available in the UK
• Comprehensive Exhibition of best Clean Energy suppliers and Renewable Technologies
• Enhanced line-up of hosts across two theatres

What’s more visitors will get to hear from leading energy and transport experts in entertaining live sessions hosted by Fully Charged presenters Robert Llewellyn (Channel 4’s Scrapheap Challenge), Jonny Smith (Channel 5’s Fifth Gear), Helen Czerski (BBC’s From Ice to Fire) and Maddie Moate (BBC’s Do You Know?).
There will be thirty live sessions over three days, including: ‘Shouldn’t we be doing more walking, running and cycling?’, ‘Wind, Solar & Storage’, ‘Car Ownership, but not as you know it’, ‘Retrofit your own home, or build an eco-home?’, ‘Can batteries really be ethical, recyclable and sustainable?’, ‘Electric Vehicle myths busted’, ‘How to stop burning money: efficiency and heat at home’, ‘How can energy tariffs change your consumption?’, ‘What you need to know about particulate and tyre pollution’, ‘Plastic pollution, the circular economy and hyper-consumerism’, ‘Scooters, E-bikes and Motorbikes’, ‘Electric Car round-up’ & many more.
Robert Llewellyn, the man behind Fully Charged, had this to say: “This time last year we were terrified and then more than 6,000 people descended on the show to hear all about the future of energy and transport. So, this year we’re really thrilled to be back, taking Fully Charged to another level. The Fully Charged team are working tirelessly to include the ingredients that our audience love in a live format and we are ludicrously excited about welcoming them on the 7th, 8th and 9th. We’ve had huge support from our sponsors and exhibitors, without whom Fully Charged LIVE would not be possible.”
